San Cris Con 2017 was a great event that brought together the most incredible pop and geek culture in Chiapas in one place. On that occasion we had the talent of renowned speakers such as the legendary voice actor Humberto Vélez , official voice of Homer Simpson for many years. We were also visited by Fernando García and Fabián Quintero , national comic creators, mainly from the series “ Códices Infinitos ” who came to talk to us about the creative process of comics in Mexico. It is worth noting that all attendees at San Cris Con took home a welcome kit with a copy of Codices Infinitos inside.

We also had drawing workshops, puppets, and other creative activities for the little ones. We celebrated our first Cosplay contest together and inside the official San Cris Con venue, Casa Mazariegos, we had shop stands, contests for card games (TCG) such as Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic , Pokemon and Heroclix , video game contests on X-Box One and PC and more. At the end of the event we celebrated together at a party, this time aimed at adults at the popular bar “Makia Night Life”.
